My photography journey started with my love of high school sports from the time I was five. My dad announced football and basketball in the small town I grew up in that was surrounded by farmland. I got my first DSLR camera in 2009 to capture my son playing basketball without blur. I started taking football photos for the local paper that year and added FFA and almost every sport by the time my son had graduated from McKinney North in Texas. I continued to do so until I moved to Tennessee in the spring of 2019 and started to take pictures for the local paper that fall until Covid-19 struck in the spring. I moved to Sterling in April of 2020, for a physical therapy job and had fun taking the Fleming Graduation pictures. I started taking softball and football pictures (Kellie 1982) as a contributor for the Journal Advocate in September after showing them what I had captured at the Logan County Jr. Rodeo.

I started taking senior pictures and family portraits the year my son graduated high school in 2012. I use a more photo journalistic approach.
I have been in McKinney’s local magazines on numerous occasions with my nature and commissioned work. In 2017 my wrestling shots were on the cover of the Texas UIL State Wrestling Program and in April, 2018 my wrestling pin shot was in Wrestling USA magazine.
I started designing fabric in 2012, for making shirts which evolved into making artistic bibs for older special needs children. In 2018, I started creating products through under Kellie1982. In 2020, I made masks for my family and friends with my fabric. Now that
